About Us

Hello, my name is Karol and my inspiration for this site is my 'greedy' but adorable dog Riley.

Riley a Bearded Collie was rescued by myself & my hubby in 2005. He is now a PAT dog (Pets As Therapy) www.petsastherapy.org & we visit children with special needs & the residents at our local nursing home. We have recently started to do Phobia work at Booth Hall and Birch Hill Hospital. We also do agility (he's much quicker than I am !).
I started 'Life of Riley' as my hubby worked away a lot & I often had to make that ONE special trip to the pet store for a big bag of dog food.  The cost was a bit steep & not one store assistant ever helped me get the bag from the trolley into my car. A trip for Riley's food often felt like a work-out !

I managed to get myself into a wholesalers after setting up a very small circle of customers and discovered that the rrp was between 40 + 60 % mark up on the wholesale price !!

So I thought I'd solve two problems.
Get your pet food and supplies at a great price
And where possible deliver them to your door.

I now have two wholesalers to source from and I am constantly doing my market research to ensure you only pay the best prices for the best products.

No more dragging 15kg bags of dog food to the car.
No more struggling with 20 litre bags of cat litter or settling for the small expenisve bag because it's easier to carry.
No more ridiculous mark up on your tins of dog/cat meat

Riley appeared in the Manchester Evening News - about his work as a therapy dog.

'proud mum' !   He has the patience of a saint & needs it now we have Albert. Thank goodness Riley has a long coat - so he doesn't feel those sharp teeth !!!
